What to Expect at Your First Appointment
At Best Hearing Care Today, we treat each patient like a member of our own family. It is our goal to make your visit as relaxed and comfortable as possible. Your first appointment is an opportunity for us to get to know your needs, concerns, and goals for healthy hearing. We recommend bringing a loved one to your hearing evaluation with you. Having support from a partner or family member can be helpful as you choose the best treatment option for your needs.
When you come in for your first visit, we will have you complete a new patient intake form, providing us with your personal and medical information.
After going over your intake information, then we will check inside your ears for any signs of obstruction or excessive earwax.
Then we will begin the hearing test. The hearing test is quick and painless.
After your hearing exam then we will discuss your results and make a recommendation for hearing aids that we believe will best help you.
If you decide to move forward with hearing aids, we will work with you during your hearing aid fitting to adjust your devices in such a way that enhances your specific daily activities.

Best Hearing Care Today is a preferred hearing care provider for the NFL Players Association’s Professional Athletes Foundation. Through this partnership, the PAF aims to bring better hearing to former professional athletes and their fans across the nation. Together, we spread awareness, help players in need of hearing care, and collected data on the connection between hearing loss and professional football.
